Pedestrian in Critical Condition After Being Hit by Car on Side Walk

A pedestrian was taken to San Francisco General Hospital in the early hours of Saturday March 3, 2012. The sixty year-old man suffered serious injuries after a car left the roadway onto the side walk near the intersection of Potrero Avenue and 16th Street in San Francisco's Potrero Hill District. The driver of the car reportedly fled the scene after the accident. Elderly residents are among the groups that are at the highest risk for pedestrian accidents. Pedestrian Struck in Marin County

A 48 year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a minivan in Terra Linda, California. The tragic accident occurred at approximately 11:40 am on March 1, 2012, at the intersection of Del Presidio Boulevard and Manuel T. Freitas Parkway. It is reported that the pedestrian was struck by the minivan while crossing the street at a designated crosswalk. Pedestrian Killed in San Jose

On February 12, 2012, a 77-year-old pedestrian suffered fatal injuries after being struck by car. The tragic accident occurred in San Jose near the intersection of Oakland Road and Rock Avenue. According to news reports, the victim is the fourth person to die in a traffic accident in San Jose since the beginning of the year, and the second pedestrian fatality of the weekend in San Jose. The other pedestrian fatality occurred on February 10, when a woman was killed after being struck by a car near the intersection of Meridian and West San Carlos Street.

Pedestrian Killed in Daly City

In the early hours of Saturday February 4, 2012, a twenty-seven year old pedestrian was struck and killed on highway I-280 in Daly City, CA. According to California Highway Patrol reports, the driver fled the scene following the accident. The incident is still under investigation and the California Highway Patrol are reportedly searching for a dark blue Toyota Prius that may have been involved in the accident.
