Father and Daughter Killed After Being Struck by Motorist

The city of Concord is grieving following a tragic accident that occurred on April 7, 2012. A father and his two young daughters were riding their bicycles along Treat Boulevard when they were struck by an SUV. According to published reports, the driver of the SUV was speeding when he lost control of the vehicle and struck the family.

After the accident, the father and his 9-year-old daughter were pronounced dead at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek. The other 12-year-old daughter survived after suffering non-life threatening injuries. Police are investigating whether the 17-year-old driver of the SUV was using his cellphone or under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident. Pedestrian Struck by Car in San Francisco's Excelsior District

A 41-year-old woman was struck by a car in San Francisco's Excelsior District. The accident occurred on April 5, 2012, at approximately 6:15 p.m. According to published reports, the victim was hit by a car that was turning south onto Mission Street from Italy Avenue. The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with serious head injuries. Woman Suffers Serious Injuries After Being Struck by MUNI Bus

A woman was struck by a MUNI bus near the San Francisco bus depot at the intersection of Howard and Beale streets. The tragic accident occurred around 7:30 pm on March 28, 2012. Following the accident, the woman was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with life threatening injuries.
